Always alone
I am a part of this earth
and what I am
shall not belong to me
nor anyone
and back then i did not belong
In the end I go where my fathers have gone
For now i stand upon their backs
as my sons shall stand on mine
My daughters will forever tower above me
and yet we are at a standstill
hand in hand
on the same level
and yet so far away
